BreadyME ("BreadyME", "we", "us") is a recipe app operated by KaiserStudio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using BreadyME, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create your account. If you continue as a guest, we don't collect account information and your data stays on your device.
Content you create
Recipes you save or scan, photos you attach to them, meal plans, shopping lists, your dietary preferences and allergies, goals, cooking-skill level, cooking history, and bookmarked items.
Photos and voice you submit for AI features
When you scan a dish or use voice input, the image or audio you provide is sent securely to our processing service and to Google's Gemini AI to recognize the dish, transcribe speech, and generate a recipe or reply.
Usage activity
The recipes you view and the searches you make, used to personalize recommendations inside the app.
Subscription status
If you purchase BreadyME Pro, our payments partner (RevenueCat) and Apple tell us whether your subscription is active. We never receive your payment-card details — Apple processes all payments.
Technical data
Basic device and diagnostic information needed to operate the app and keep it reliable.
We do not show third-party ads and we do not sell your personal data.
How we use your information
- Provide the core features (scan, save, plan, shop, cook).
- Sync your data across your devices and back it up.
- Personalize recipe recommendations.
- Manage your BreadyME Pro subscription.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- Send the reminders you choose to turn on.
Who we share information with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run BreadyME:
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, and notifications.
- Google — Google Sign-In, and Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini), which processes the photos, audio and text you submit to generate recipes and replies. Our backend runs on Google Cloud Run.
- Supabase — secure cloud database, authentication, and photo storage used to sync and back up your account.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
AI processing
Recipe scanning, the cooking assistant, recipe suggestions, and voice input rely on AI (Google Gemini). The content you submit for these features is sent securely for processing. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — always check ingredients yourself, especially if you have allergies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete account: this schedules deletion, and your cloud data is permanently removed after 30 days. Sign back in within 30 days to cancel. Guest data lives only on your device — deleting the app removes it.
Children
BreadyME is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls, and per-user data isolation. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, GDPR in the EEA/UK, or CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can do most of this in the app, or contact us at breadymeapp@gmail.com.
International transfers
BreadyME serves users in the United States and other regions. Your data may be processed and stored on servers in the United States, Singapore, and other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
